I completed the Couch to 5k program with my friend Amanda and celebrated with a 5k race in November 2009. Now I am totally addicted to running races, getting the tee shirt, and every once in a while a new PR. Up soon.. Training for my 2nd Half Marathon..yikes! This blog is a way for me to keep track of how far I have come and it's also to remember that for someone with Hashimotos, Asthma, and a lazy streak who just started running at 38 years old, I'm doing pretty darn good!
